When bookings are enabled on your Dojo Bookings account, diners will be able to book tables in your restaurant wherever they find your business.
Embedded booking link
Your restaurant has a unique booking link that allows diners to book tables straight from your website or social media pages. Find out how to upload your booking link.
Wherever a diner finds your link, clicking it will take them to a Dojo Bookings page:
First log in to your Dojo bookings account.
- The diner selects a party size, date and time for their booking
Note: If you have enquiries enabled, customers will be able to enquire for party sizes larger than your regular booking schedule. Learn more about enquiries - If the booking triggers any of your booking policies, the diner must agree to its terms before making the booking. Learn more about booking policies
- On the next page the diner fills out their details, including their name, telephone number, email address and any special requests.
They can also opt into your marketing list using the checkboxes at the bottom of the page
- The diner then sees a summary of their booking before clicking ‘Confirm
If there’s a booking policy associated with the booking, the diner pays the deposit at this stage.
- The diner will receive a confirmation email with their booking details. That email contains links that allows the diner to edit or cancel their booking, or contact your restaurant if they have any questions.
The Dojo app
Enabling bookings also lists your business on the Dojo app so you can get discovered by more diners, who can find you based on their location or through searching.
Once they’ve found your entry, diners can make a booking or join the virtual queue (if you have queuing enabled).
Your restaurant’s listing is based on the information in your profile.

Reserve with Google
Dojo Bookings uses your restaurant’s address information to add a booking link to your business’s entry on Google, so diners can make bookings when they discover you through a search or on Google Maps:
- After finding your restaurant on Google, a diner clicks ‘Reserve a Table’
- On the next page, they select a party size, date and time for their booking and clicks ‘Continue’
- On the next page the diner confirms the booking details and adds their contact information.
They can also opt into your marketing list using the checkboxes at the bottom of the page.
Then, they click ‘Book’ to complete the booking
- The diner will receive a confirmation email with their booking details. That email contains links that allows the diner to edit or cancel their booking, or contact your restaurant if they have any questions.

Make a manual booking in Dojo Bookings RMS
You can still manually create a booking if a diner telephones or books in-person:
- From the Parties list, Table plan or Planner, click ‘Add a party’ in the top-right corner.
A new menu will open
- Select ‘Booking,’ then enter a party size, date and time
- Enter a contact name, telephone number, and email address
- Add any comments if necessary
- When you’re finished, click ‘Create booking.’
The booking contact will receive confirmation of their booking, and it will appear on your Parties list, Table plan and Planner.
