Rather than deleting a party that doesn’t show up for their booking, you can mark them as a no-show so their table is made available for walk-ins.
In this article:
Mark a party as a no-show
First, log in to your Dojo Bookings account.
When a party starts to run late for their booking, they will be marked as overdue on the Parties list, Table plan, and Planner. If they do not show up for their booking then you can click the no-show icon to the right of their entry on the Parties list. This will mark them as a No-show, which removes them from the Upcoming parties list and makes their allocated table available to walk-in parties.
You can also click the party’s name and click ‘No-show’
View all no-show parties by selecting ‘No-shows’ from the dropdown on the Parties list.
What to do if a no-show arrives
If a no-show party arrives you can complete their booking instead of adding them as a walk-in party, if you still have available tables.
- View all no-show parties by selecting ‘No-shows’ from the dropdown on the Parties list.
- Click the party's name and select 'Restore party.' This will return them to the Parties list.
- Seat the party as normal.
