There are some common reasons your restaurant may be overbooked.
If you find your restaurant overbooked, close bookings for the rest of service.
Your parties are not assigned to tables
If walk-in or manually added parties are not assigned to tables, customers will still be able to book those tables when they make a booking.
At the beginning of service, check that all parties have tables assigned to them. Click the icon in the Table column on the Parties list and select an available table so they appear on the Table plan and Planner tabs.

You are not seating your guests
When parties arrive for their booking, make sure to seat them by clicking the seat icon on the Parties list or clicking 'Seat' from the booking details tab.
If parties are not sat, their table will still be marked as available so can be incorrectly assigned to future bookings or walk-in parties.
Parties do not fit into your booking schedule
Unacceptable party sizes and already-assigned tables will be marked when the booking is added.
