Dojo require additional authentication when you log into the Dojo for business app.
What is multifactor authentication?
Multifactor authentication (MFA) are additional levels of security above your password that help stop anyone else logging into your Dojo account, protecting both you and your business.
MFA requires:
- Something you know (your password)
- Something only you have access to (your computer or mobile device)
- Something you are (biometrics such as your fingerprint or face ID)
Dojo’s MFA requires your password and your device to authenticate your identity. You can then set up biometric authentication to make your account even more secure while also making it significantly faster and easier for you to log in.
How to enable authentication
When you log into your Dojo for business account with a correct email and password combination from Tuesday 21st November 2023 you will be asked to select your preferred authentication method.
Select an option below to learn more:
- Download an authenticator app to your mobile device.
Authenticator apps help verify your identity by generating time-based codes to accounts you connect to it, such as Dojo.
Only use authenticator applications from trusted providers which can be found on the iOS App Store or Google Play Store
- Scan the on-screen QR code with your authenticator app
- Your authenticator app will generate a 6-digit code. Enter this into Dojo in the ‘One- time password’ field.
Then, select ‘Continue’
- Select your country code and enter your phone number
- Select whether to receive your one-time code via SMS or a voice call. Then select ‘Continue’
- You will receive a 6-digit one-time code to the selected telephone number:
- SMS messages are sent by DOJOAUTH
- Telephone calls will come from +44 (0)203 3191 331
- Enter the code into the Dojo for business app, then select’ Continue’
If you’re unable to use an authenticator app or receive an SMS or voice message, select ‘Try another method:’
- Enter your email address
- You will receive an email from dojo-accounts-no-reply@dojo.tech containing an authentication code
- Enter the code into the Dojo for business app, then select’ Continue’
Enable biometrics
After you’ve authenticated your identity via authenticator app, SMS or voice message, you will be able to set up biometric authentication for future logins. This makes your account even more secure while also making it significantly faster and easier for you to log in - all you'll need to do in future is enter your email address and perform a biometric check.
Select ‘Continue’ and you will be taken through your device’s standard biometric authentication - this is normally a fingerprint scan or a facial identification process (e.g. Face ID on iPhone).
Alternatively, select ‘Remind me later’ or ‘Not on this device’ to dismiss biometric authentication.
