Each card machine has a unique 4-digit supervisor code. This is used to authorise some tasks, such as refunding or reversing transactions.

What’s my supervisor code?
Your card machine comes with a temporary supervisor code and we’ll email it to you when your account is first set up with Dojo, along with your order information and Activation Code.
You can find the supervisor code for each of your card machines in your Dojo account and the Dojo business app:
- Tap ‘Tools’
- Select ‘Card machines’
- Select your card machine.
The supervisor code will be listed along with other information about your card machine.
How to change your supervisor code
We recommend changing your supervisor code as soon as you set up your new card machine. You can do this on the card machine or via the Dojo for Business app.
Changing your supervisor code on the card machine
- Tap the menu icon in the top-left corner of the screen
- Tap ‘Settings’ then select ‘Supervisor code’

Enter your current supervisor code
Remember: Each card machine comes with a temporary supervisor code. If you can’t find it, search 'Your Dojo Order' in your email inbox. - Enter your new supervisor code. Enter it again to confirm.
Changing your supervisor code in the Dojo for Business App
- Tap ‘Tools’
- Navigate to the card machine page
- Choose the card machine you want to update from the list
- Click the 'update' text
- Type in a new supervisor code. Enter it again to confirm
