Dojo's integration with QuickBooks in is early access. Contact us to register your interest.
Connect your Dojo account with your QuickBooks Online file to automatically push your daily transaction and transfer data. Your Dojo invoice will be imported once a month too.
Note: You can only integrate with QuickBooks through the web. Log into your Dojo account at account.dojo.tech to get started.
Top tip: To make it easier to identify your card machine takings, we recommend that you create a new Income account in QuickBooks called ‘Dojo Sales Income,’ and a new Expenses account called ‘Dojo Costs’ before you integrate with Dojo.
- Select ‘Accounting integrations’ from the sidebar. Choose QuickBooks.
- On the next page, click ‘Get started’ and follow the on-screen instructions:
- Enter your QuickBooks Online login details and follow the prompts to authorise the connection with Dojo.
You’ll be redirected back to Dojo when the connection is complete. - Select how your business reports VAT, then click ‘Next’
- Map your Dojo transaction and transfer data to your QuickBooks accounts. Choose:
- Where to record your Dojo Sales, Gratuity (optional), and Refunds against
- Your VAT rate (if you selected a fixed tax rate)
- The bank account your Dojo transfers are sent to
- Map your Dojo fees data to your QuickBooks accounts. Choose:
- Where to record your Dojo invoice
- Your VAT rate (if you selected a fixed tax rate)
- Select the date from which Dojo will begin exporting data to QuickBooks and click ‘Save.’
Note: If you choose a date in the past, please double-check that this data isn’t already in QuickBooks or you’ll end up with duplicated entries. You will need to perform the integration again if you need to change this date. - When the integration is complete, the ‘Accounting integrations’ page will show the full details of the connection to QuickBooks. Your transaction data will be exported to QuickBooks every day as a single entry so they can be reconciled with your daily transfer. Your sales, refunds, and gratuity appear as separate line items.
Your monthly Dojo invoice will be imported into your QuickBooks expenses.
