Follow these steps every day to make sure your Dojo bookings account is running smoothly:
Start Of Service
- System is open and visible - log in here
- Opening hours are correct
- Additional wait time is set to 0-minutes
- Menu links (if using) is up-to-date
- Status bar accurately reflects the statuses needed to run your service – e.g. open
During Service
Once your restaurant is full, you’ll be ready to start your waitlist. The only thing you’ll need to do after adding people to your list is:
1. Notify guests to come back – we recommend you do this when a table is nearing the end of their course or has asked for their bill
2. Seat guests that arrive at the restaurant after being notified
3. Delete guests if their 10-minute grace period has lapsed
Key Focus Area
Ensure you’re comfortable with the process, and have a good understanding of:
- Adding guests to the list
- Notifying guests when the table is ready
- Allocating tables for parties in the queue and seating guests who arrive
- Deleting guests who don’t turn up after 10 minutes of being notified
- How to use the table plan
- How to send 2-way messages to customers
Be careful when collecting guest data, make sure their name and number are correct. If you make a mistake, you can edit their details at any time.
