Compact. Light. Powerful. The Dojo Pocket is a 4G- ready card machine designed to slide right into an apron pocket. It's lightweight design provides the freedom to serve seamlessly on the move- meaning faster, more efficient service and more table turned. Staff can carry a device on them at all times- allowing them to quickly handle any customer requests.
The Dojo Pocket can connect with your EPOS system, allowing you to seamlessly take orders at dinners' tables-and then accept payment using the same device. This cuts down on the need to run back and forth between the table and a till. More information about the Dojo Pocket can be found on our website here.
How to set up the Dojo Pocket
Follow the instructions below to set up your new Dojo Pocket. Before you begin, you'll need:
- Your Wi-Fi details
- Your Activation Code
Your Activation Code is a unique 6-character code that we'll email you when your account is first set up with Dojo, along with your order information and Supervisor code .You can also find your Activation Code for each of your card machines in the 'Tools' section on the Dojo app.
Remove the battery protection sticker
Remove the panel on the back of the Dojo Pocket device and take out the battery using the white ‘Pull’ sticker. Then peel off the red sticker and replace the battery and back panel.
Plug in the charger
Connect the charging cable to the power adapter and plug it in below the Dojo Pocket’s screen. It takes about 75 minutes to charge from 0-100%.
Activate your card machine
To finish getting started, follow the steps on screen to connect to a Wi-Fi network. The Dojo pocket has to be activated over Wi-Fi or a mobile hotspot before the roaming SIM will become active. Once connected to a network, click continue & wait for the loading screen to clear. This may take a few minutes as the device is downloading the most up to date software. After the download has been completed, hit next & enter Your Activation Code. Once the setup has been completed, we would suggest updating Your Supervisor Code.

Contactless Payments
Your customers can tap their card or smart device for any sale or refund amount. If the payment is over £100, the device will display a simple, secure virtual PIN pad customers can use without inserting their card.

Email any receipts
If the cardholder asks for a receipt , tap ‘Email receipt’ and add their email address.
Dojo does not record the cardholder’s email address so their data is protected.
