FAQs
How to show customers’ bills
Some of Dojo’s integrated POS partners are able to show cardholders an itemised breakdown of their bill on the screen before they pay:
- Tap the menu icon and select Settle table
- Select the table number
- Tap Display bill if supported by your EPOS
The itemised bill is currently supported by Tevalis.
How to take a transaction with a customer PIN
A cardholder needs to authenticate their card with their PIN if the transaction exceeds £100, or their bank requires additional security.
A PIN pad appears on the Dojo Pocket if a customer needs to enter their PIN.
A very small number of cards do not support this method of authentication. The Dojo Pocket will display a message and give the option to complete the transaction via Apple Pay or Google Play, use a different card, cancel the transaction, or pay via a QR code.
How to process summary reports on the Dojo Pocket
The best way to run end-of-day reports is through your Dojo account at account.dojo.tech or the Dojo business app. Use the filters on the transactions list to break out your payments by each of your card machines. You can even download them as a .CSV file.
