It’s really quick and easy to install your Dojo card machine. It'll only take you a few minutes, and all you need is either your Wi-Fi details or SIM connection and the activation code we sent you by email. You can also find your your activation code within the Dojo app. The setup process will differ slightly depending on the model of the card machine.

Setting up your Dojo Go
Open the battery cover on the back of the card machine, then remove the battery. Peel off the protective sticker.
Replace the battery and put the battery cover back on.
Connect the USB cable to the power adapter and plug into the charging base. To power on your machine, hold down the power button for 2-4 seconds.
Follow the instructions on-screen to connect to your Wi-Fi network. If you’d prefer to use the free 4G mobile connection, tap ‘Wi-Fi settings’ then ‘Skip Wi-Fi setup.’

Leave your card machine on the charging base for 10 minutes. It will update to the latest version of Dojo’s software.
Your Activation Code is a unique 6-character code that we’ll email to you when your account is first set up with Dojo, along with your order information and Supervisor Code.
You can also find the activation code for each of your card machines in the 'Tools' section of your Dojo account and Dojo business app.

A supervisor code is needed to perform administrative functions on your card machine, including processing refunds. There is a default code for your card machine, which you can find in the 'Tools' section of your Dojo account and Dojo business app.
We recommend changing it to something unique for each machine:
1) Tap the menu icon and select ‘Settings’ then select ‘Update supervisor code’
2) Enter the default supervisor code
3)Enter your new supervisor code, then enter it again to confirm
Finish setting up your card machine by following the last couple of steps on-screen.
Now you’re ready to start taking payments!

Connect the power adapter to the power cable and plug it into the back of the card machine
Plug one end of the ethernet cable into the back of the card machine. The other end should be connected to your router, or you can insert directly into the wall if you have a network port.
Hold down the red power button for 2-4 seconds to turn on the card machine.
