Download the Dojo app from the iOS app store or Google Play store, or go to account.dojo.tech. Click ‘forgot password’ and follow the instructions to set a new password. Then log in with your email address and new password. Learn how to log in.

Dojo card machines come with Point-to-Point Encryption (P2PE). It’s the most rigorous security standard and protects you and your customers from card fraud – safeguarding your reputation and giving your customers peace of mind.
Reporting your PCI compliance is as simple as answering two questions. To report your PCI compliance:

1. Log in to your Dojo account via the app or at account.dojo.tech
2. Go to ‘Account’ and choose ‘PCI compliance’
3. Read the P2PE Instruction Manual and Data Security Policy carefully. When you're confident your business adheres to the guidelines, select ‘Confirm compliance’
4. Check the two statement boxes to confirm your business follows the guidelines in the documents and click ‘Agree.’

Add your employees as team members on Dojo so they can log into your business's Dojo account and keep track of transactions when your focus is elsewhere:

1. Log into the Dojo app or at account.dojo.tech. 
2. Tap ‘Account’ in the sidebar, then select ‘Team members’

Follow the instructions on-screen to connect to your Wi-Fi router. If you’d prefer to use the free 4G mobile connection, tap ‘Wi-Fi settings’ then ‘Skip Wi-Fi setup.’

Leave your card machine on the charging base to update to the latest software. Your card will let you know once it has completed any updates.

When prompted, enter the activation code sent to you via email and SMS. This connects your card machine to your account.

You can scan the QR code using the Dojo for Business app to automatically enter your activation code too.

A supervisor code is needed for administrative functions, such as refunds or reversals.

When prompted, enter the supervisor code sent to you via email and SMS, followed by your new supervisor code.

Connect your card machine to your EPOS.

1. Key in the sale amount, and tap 'confirm'.
2. If you have gratuity enabled, have your customer enter the gratuity amount or percentage. Click here to learn more about enabling gratuity.
3. Tap ‘Pay’
4. The total amount will appear on the screen for the cardholder to tap, insert or swipe their card or smart device
5. Once paid, you’ll see a message indicating success or failure, with options to print a receipt, or receive a digital receipt via email or QR code. Note: For integration with your EPOS, learn about Pay at Table and Pay at Counter.
6. You then have the option to print or email a receipt for yourself and the cardholder.

You can still take a payment manually if the card isn’t present for the transaction. When you get to the card payment screen:

1. Key in the sale amount and tap "Confirm."
2. Tap the three-dot menu and select "Card Not Present."
3. Enter the card number, expiry date, and CVV.
4. Input the first line of the customer's address and postcode if the Address Verification Service is configured for your device.
5. Tap "Pay" to process the transaction.
6. Once paid, you’ll see a message indicating success or failure, with options to print a receipt, or receive a digital receipt via email or QR code.

1. Tap the menu bar in the top-left of the screen and select ‘Refund’
2. Enter the refund amount and tap ‘Confirm’
3. Enter your supervisor code to authorise the refund
4. The refund amount with appear on the screen for the cardholder to tap, insert, or swipe their card
5. Once the refund has been approved you can print or email a receipt for yourself and the cardholder.

Print a receipt once a payment has been successful. Tap ‘Print receipt.’ The receipt is identical for both yourself and the customer so tap it again if you’d both like a copy. 

You can also print receipts for previous transactions. Tap the menu icon and then ‘Transactions.’ Select the transaction and tap ‘Print receipt.’

Transfers are processed after 10 AM daily, including holidays, for transactions taken the previous day. Please allow a few hours for the funds to reach your account.Get everything you need to know about your transfers.

Log into your Dojo account and tap ‘Transfers’ to see a full history of your completed and pending transfers. Select a specific transfer to see more details, including the payment reference that will appear on your bank statement.

Your card machine’s summary screen gives you an overview of your daily transactions that you can print off as an end-of-day report or z-receipt:

1. Tap the menu icon in the top-left of the screen
2. Tap ‘Summary’ and enter your supervisor code
3. Tap the printer icon to print the summary as a z-receipt.

You can also filter your summary to show a specific period. Learn how to customise your summary report.

Log into your Dojo account to see a complete record of all your transactions. Transactions are organised by date and at a glance tell you the card scheme, time, and transaction amount. Refunds are recorded in red with a negative value, and Declined transactions are scored through and marked with a prohibited symbol.

Tap the filter icon to search for specific transactions. This allows you to easily reconcile your takings with your transfers in a given period of time, or identify whether a particular payment has gone through.
