PCI compliance is a requirement for all businesses that accept card payments.
Dojo card machines come with Point-to-Point Encryption (P2PE). It’s the most rigorous security standard and protects you and your customers from card fraud – safeguarding your reputation and giving your customers peace of mind.
3) Add your employees to your account Add your employees as team members on Dojo so they can log into your business's Dojo account and keep track of transactions when your focus is elsewhere:

Set up your card machine

1) Remove the battery protection sticker Open the battery cover on the back of the card machine, then remove the battery. Peel off the protective sticker.
Replace the battery and put the battery cover back on. 2) Power up your card machine Connect the USB cable to the power adapter and plug into the charging base. To power on your machine, hold down the power button for 2-4 seconds.
3) Select Your Country This should be the country where you’ve signed up to use the card machine.
4) Connect to Wi-Fi Follow the instructions on-screen to connect to your Wi-Fi router. If you’d prefer to use the free 4G mobile connection, tap ‘Wi-Fi settings’ then ‘Skip Wi-Fi setup.’
Note: We recommend using a Wi-Fi connection but if your internet connection is intermittent, switch your card machine to 4G.

Leave your card machine on the charging base to update to the latest software. Your card will let you know once it has completed any updates. 6) Enter your activation code When prompted, enter the activation code sent to you via email and SMS. This connects your card machine to your account.
You can scan the QR code using the Dojo for Business app to automatically enter your activation code too. Get your activation code. 7) Update your supervisor code A supervisor code is needed for administrative functions, such as refunds or reversals.
When prompted, enter the supervisor code sent to you via email and SMS, followed by your new supervisor code. 8) Integrate with your EPOS Your Dojo card machine can be integrated with your Electronic Point of Sale system for faster transactions and a smoother customer experience. How to process refunds
How to print or email a receipt Print a receipt once a payment has been successful. Tap ‘Print receipt.’ The receipt is identical for both yourself and the customer so tap it again if you’d both like a copy. You can also print receipts for previous transactions. Tap the menu icon and then ‘Transactions.’ Select the transaction and tap ‘Print receipt.’ Customers can also receive their receipt via email. Learn more about email receipts. |

Get paid
How your takings are transferred Transfers are processed after 10 AM daily, including holidays, for transactions taken the previous day. Please allow a few hours for the funds to reach your account.Get everything you need to know about your transfers. View your transfer history Log into your Dojo account and tap ‘Transfers’ to see a full history of your completed and pending transfers. Select a specific transfer to see more details, including the payment reference that will appear on your bank statement. Enable transfer notifications Enable push notifications in the settings of your Dojo app so you know when your funds have been transferred to your bank account. Customise your transfer reference Customise the reference code of your Dojo transfers so you can easily identify your funds when they hit your bank account. Click here to learn more. |
Track your business
Create an end-of-day summary Your card machine’s summary screen gives you an overview of your daily transactions that you can print off as an end-of-day report or z-receipt:
You can also filter your summary to show a specific period. Learn how to customise your summary report. View and filter transactions Log into your Dojo account to see a complete record of all your transactions. Transactions are organised by date and at a glance tell you the card scheme, time, and transaction amount. Refunds are recorded in red with a negative value, and Declined transactions are scored through and marked with a prohibited symbol. Tap the filter icon to search for specific transactions. This allows you to easily reconcile your takings with your transfers in a given period of time, or identify whether a particular payment has gone through. Export your transactions Download your transactions list as a CSV file so you can process them further and plan growing your business. Understanding your invoice We’ll email you a monthly invoice for each of your business locations. |
